M1836 R. Johnson Flint Pistol

Completely identified Confederate Enfield -J S anchor stamp.  Serial number engraved on tang.  Listed on manifest of S>S> Gladiator and best of all, large  size "G" stamp for state purchase by Gov. Brown of Georgia.

 Listed in case marked J E B . Includes copy of original manifest listing by case and control number this exact weapon.  One of a group purchased with state funds and seized by Confederate Government!

 
 Includes 1.5 inch thick archive compiled by Greg Coco - recently deceased National Park Service guide at Gettysburg and  well published author .
 
 Ex NeVille- ex Phillip Ennis- ex Michael Kramer-ex Shannon Pritchard and now to me/
 
 Confederate soldier with full ID and research is Wiliam Harman Beard of co. f 13th GA,  the Evans -Lawton Brigade
 
 Pvt. Beard lost his Enfield at Gettysburg and it surfaced at a yard sale in the 1990's north of the town.
