Model 1853 Sharps Carbine 

 Military carbine with excellent wood, sharp JPC block letter inspection of James P. Chapman, tiny M below his.  Hints of original case colors, all markings correct - almost perfect.  You will not be disappointed.  Perfect bright bore, all breech block parts nice, clean, hints of original finish.  Serial number a few away from known numbers taken at Harpers Ferry from John Brown.

Original rear sight missing in action.  A museum quality replacement is included at no extra charge.
